Practice

Description or prescription of an action

Introduction to the notion

The term “practice” was chosen to avoid any ambiguity and also to broaden the scope of application. A practice is the description or prescription of an action, whatever the level of description: process, use case, action

The decomposition of the practice is shown using an activity graph. In this way, the decomposition merges with the internal scheduling. Any action represented on an activity diagram can, itself, refer back to a practice.
