Object Management Group
Introduction to the notion
The Object Management Group (OMG) has been an international, open membership, not-for-profit computer industry consortium since 1989. It gathers many of the actors in the field of software industry and engineering.
It publishes standards among which the most famous are CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture), MDA (Model Driven Architecture) and UML (Unified Modeling Language).
