Notes correspond to the UML Notes appearing on diagrams, but also to every textual part associated to ModelElements. They include implementation code, documentation, or every possible kind of textual information. Notes are related to NoteTypes that declare the allowed Notes in a model. Under Objecteering, Notes belong to to their annotated ModelElement. Notes correspond to the UML2 “Comment" metaclass.
