Definition of the rubric
The Organum includes a section for questions relating to the equipment and material conditions of the production. Apparatus lists this equipment, in its broadest sense. The rubric covers both tooling and logistics.
Of course, the tooling and to a certain extent, the logistics, are conditioned by the way of working, as set out in Modus and updated in Focus, and it has its own model : the Praxeme metamodel
Content of the rubric
In the context of the initiative for an open method, Apparatus is concerned with the transformation chain. We can therefore find:
- information regarding the possible tools (modeling tools, first and foremost);
- extensions developed around these tools (notably, the Praxeme profile);
- solutions likely to be integrated within the transformation chain.
The automation can involve any one of the activities handled by Praxeme: modeling, documentation, idea management, configuration management, development, project management, evaluation…
The Apparatus rubric also is the place where Documentation elements are to be found: document and presentation templates, logos, instructions used in the products of the Praxeme Institute.
